MGM officially launched the M CULTURE Program in Mainland China in 2023. As a culture charity initiative, M CULTURE is dedicated to revitalizing Chinese arts and culture by integrating MGM’s global cultural and artistic resources, promoting the innovative inheritance of Chinese traditional culture, and enhancing its presence on the world stage. M CULTURE actively brings international cultural and artistic achievements into China, fostering deeper connections between Chinese and global cultures. M CULTURE Program will collaborate with prominent cultural institutions from China and around the world to bring extraordinary cultural experiences to cities with MGM hotels in Mainland China, showcasing Chinese traditional culture and revitalizing it on the global stage. MGM, as a global leader in culture and entertainment, integrates art and culture into its DNA, creating a distinctive and unparalleled guest experience. MGM’s unique art museums and high-end galleries features a diverse collection of over 1,500 pieces from more than 700 artists, including works by some of the world’s most renowned artists. M CULTURE will serve as a platform for MGM to foster Sino US cultural and artistic exchanges. Through digital technology and physical exhibitions, it will bring MGM's diverse art collection to China, building a cultural bridge that strengthens the friendship between the two nations.

The public welfare initiative “Silk Reverie · M Culture Dunhuang Creative Journey,” jointly launched by Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality and the China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development, was officially inaugurated at MGM Reserve Zhuhai. As the third installment of M Culture philanthropy campaign, this year’s program is held with special support from Dunhuang Academy, GDPAFFC, and GPAFFC. Centered on Dunhuang culture, the initiative seeks to reinterpret the thousand-year-old Silk Road civilization through a contemporary artistic lens, promoting the revitalization of Chinese traditional culture and advancing international cultural exchange. M Culture Artist of the Year 2025 Iris Scott and her team will travel to Dunhuang to immerse themselves in the region’s cave art and ancient Silk Road heritage. Drawing inspiration from this journey, she will create new works of art that capture the beauty of Dunhuang. Her exploration and creative process will be documented into a short film, which will be released across major Chinese media platforms and her personal social media, offering global audiences a unique perspective on the cultural allure of Dunhuang.
